Good scopes for sure.

I have wanted a Trijicon ACOG for several years, but the price tag was always a concern. After biting the bullet I finally contacted Trijicon and told them what I wanted. They were very helpful and suggested the following:

TA50-C-******* 3x24 Compact ACOG Scope (8 weeks to ship)
RM54 Mount for 3x24 and 3x30 Compact ACOG (2 weeks to ship)
TA51 Thumbscrew Mount for 3.5x35 ACOG (2 weeks to ship)
RM04 Dual-Illuminated Sight (4 weeks to ship).

The total cost was $2,012.00 Expensive, but from everything I've heard, well worth the cost. I would like to say it is the best scope I have ever owned, but since I haven't received it (16 weeks after order date), I can't give it much of a recommendation.

When purchased, I was told the items would ship in 8 weeks, but when the eight weeks passed with no shipping notification, I called Trijicon and was told the 8 weeks didn't actually mean they would ship it in 8 weeks, but that it would enter production in eight weeks. This irritated me a lot, but I really wanted it, so I accepted it and moved on.

After 12 weeks, I called again and was told they would not ship until all items were ready for shipment. NOTE: they would not tell me what item was causing the delay or when my order would be shipped.

After 16 weeks, I called again and once again told they would not ship until all items were ready for shipment. When I asked what the delay was, they would not tell me and suggested I cancel my order and purchase the items from one of their retailers. I then called several of their distributers and discovered none of them carry this particular scope.

Bottom line, they may make a good product, or so I'm told, but their customer service leaves a lot to be desired.
